What to do when you feel lazy and don’t feel like cooking a complicated recipe? Usually I go for something simple like grilled or fried. Vegetables are really easy and fast to fry or grill, and if you have some steaks or fillets everything will be done in 20 minutes. Usually I use olive oil or vegetable oil instead of animal oil or butter to cook. This is mainly because olive oil is high in monounsaturated (good) fat. It contains zero trans (bad) fats and is lower in saturated (bad) fat than other commonly used ingredients such as shortening and butter. Simply put, olive oil is one of the best ways to add good fat to your diet and avoid bad fat.
